My name is Megan Camp and I am the Chandler and owner of Camp Candle Co. A candle company situated in Maple Ridge; a suburb just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia.
Originally hailing from Vancouver Island, growing up on the West Coast left me with a life-long love of this province and everything that it has to offer. I wanted to create a brand that captures the ruggedness of the coast, blended with the warm heart of its people.
My candles are made with a custom blend of natural and organic soy and coconut wax that is sustainably grown and harvested. My products contain no paraffins, phthalates or any other harsh chemicals and I do not use any essential oils that are deemed toxic to pets. I use wooden wicks in all my candles except for the tealights, which use a lead-free cotton wick. I strived to not only use the cleanest burning ingredients, but ingredients that have the least impact on the environment and animals within it.
